Being Considerate of Your Friends and Other People

When you talk to a friend, teacher, parent, sibling, or anyone else, it's important to pay attention and listen when they are speaking. Patiently wait for your turn to talk. Paying attention shows the person that you care about what they are saying. Use words when you reply that show what they are saying is important.

Refrain from saying trite (commonplace) things such as "A-huh" and "Yep."

Also, pay attention to your body language. For example, if you are looking at a pretty girl instead of them, they might get the message that you don’t care about what they are saying to you. It's important to look them in their eyes, but don't stare.
