Boys with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) might have trouble with fidgeting and difficulty focusing on what goes on in the classroom. They may take prescribed medication to help them learn.
Some boys have ASD (autism spectrum disorder) and might be in a special class that is taught in a way that makes it easier for them to learn. Kids with ASD might also take prescribed medications.
There is nothing wrong with boys with ADHD or ASD; their brains just function differently than other kids' minds.
Kids with ADHD and ASD need and want friends, too; when you meet one at school, you might want to be their friend, and you never know. You might make a new best friend.
Please don’t tease boys and girls who are different; they are like you and others. They like to have friends and get things out of life, just like you.
