It can be hard for siblings to get along. But remember: your sibling will most likely be in your life as an adult and can be a great friend. Be considerate of your siblings: don’t tease them if they don't like it, borrow their things without permission, or be plain nasty to them.
If you are an older sibling, it is important to be there for your younger siblings as they grow up. You may have heard the saying, "You pick your nose, not your relatives." This means that you will most likely be in contact with, and at least sometimes be around, your siblings after you move out of your parents’ or guardian’s house, most likely for the rest of your lives. You don't decide who your relatives are, just your friends. So, be nice and try to get along with your siblings. Be their best friend. You might not like everything about them, but there might be some things about you that they don't care for either. The above applies to cousins and other relatives, too.
