Peyronie's disease is when scarred flesh grows inside the penis, which results in a serious curve up, down, or to the side of the penis. Erections in pubescent boys are often curved and are normal.

Peyronie's disease can hurt when the boy gets an erection. It can also make it difficult to get erect and to stay erect. It is uncommon in younger males. Boys with the disease must get medical help right away to stop the disease from worsening.

The exact cause of Peyronie's in boys and men isn't known. It is believed that it may be a result of rough sex, injury during sports, or other mishaps. Hurting your penis doesn't always cause Peyronie's.

If Peyronie's disease is not medically addressed, it can cause a man to feel pain, have a curved penis, and unable have sex.
