Taking a shower or bath every day or every other day becomes important during puberty because you sweat a lot more and your body odor smells stronger than before you were in puberty. People must use soap all over their body, not missing a spot, including the feet, penis, testicles, crotch, anus, and armpits. Don’t get soap up the urethra (the opening of the penis), and don’t get soap, only water, under the foreskin if uncircumcised.
Body sprays are sometimes popular with teenage boys. These can be very strong-smelling, so use only a little. Don't use body sprays or deodorant to cover up body odor —people can still tell you have body odor.
